TexasLookup.org Anti-Spam Policy
What is Spam?
Spam is unwanted or unsolicited messages sent by a robot to a user’s email address. Spam has become an increasing problem with users receiving hundreds of unwanted messages per day. The original definition of spam was the sending of commercial messages without any mutual consent from the recipient, but now this term has been broadened to apply to all kinds of unsolicited communications such as bulk mailing, faxes and emails.
Programmed Spam Filtering
We have a filtering option that was programmed to scan for spam emails and prevents us from receiving spam messages.
Spam Filtering Problems
From time to time, authentic messages will be filtered out by our systems as there is no message filter that is completely accurate. If this happens to messages that you send us, please find alternative ways to contact us.
To decrease chances of your message being filtered out, you can try any of the following:
- Scan messages for malware before sending
- Send messages in plain text
- Remove any attachments
- Avoid phishing phrases
